Reserved funds on customer bank account

Stripe, as a payment provider, sometimes initiates a transaction by first reserving funds. Subsequently, when the actual transaction is processed, it appears as a separate entry or 'line item' on the bank statement.

This can lead to a period of a few days where funds appear to be double-deducted: the initial reserved amount has not yet been released back to the client, while the actual charge has already been posted.
