Tracking nutrition is a cornerstone of any successful fitness journey. The Food Diary feature provides a seamless way for clients to log their meals and for coaches to provide data-driven feedback.
Viewing Client Progress
To review a client's logs and provide oversight, coaches can navigate to:
Client
Food Diary (sidebar at right).
Real-Time Progress: Coaches can see exactly what their clients are eating throughout the day.
Macro Breakdown: The diary tracks Protein, Carbohydrates, and Fats alongside total calories, allowing for more granular coaching.
Actionable Feedback: Use the daily logs to provide specific coaching tips and adjustments during your check-ins.
Daily progress bar - Nutrition target needed
The daily progress bar will appear as soon as the nutrition target is set for a client. This can be done by:
Creating a custom Meal Plan.
Assigning a specific Calorie Target (e.g., 2,000 kcal) and Macro Split (Protein, Fats, and Carbs).
For the Client: Daily Tracking
The Food Diary is designed to be intuitive and fast, ensuring clients stay consistent with their logging.
Logging Meals
Clients can track intake across four main categories: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Snacks. There are several ways to add food:
Barcode Scanner: Use the phone camera to instantly scan and log packaged foods.
Search Database: Search for specific ingredients or meals in our extensive database.
Quick Add: View recently tracked foods to add common meals with a single tap.
Favorites: Save frequent ingredients for even faster access.
Tracking Recipes
If a coach has assigned recipes within a meal plan, clients can log it directly from the recipe view:
Open the assigned Meal Plan.
Select the Recipe.
Tap Track Recipe.
The app defaults to one standard portion, but clients can adjust the weight if they ate more or less than the recommended amount.
Disabling the Feature
Food diary is by default enabled for new clients, but can be changed per client by navigating to Client Settings -> Features -> Food diary switch.
