Scale business with client referrals

Word-of-mouth is the most powerful tool for any personal coach. To make referring easier for your clients - and more rewarding for you - we’ve streamlined the process. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to send mass referral invites and track your success.

1. Reach All Your Clients at Once

Instead of messaging clients one by one, use the Broadcast feature to save time.

  1. Select your audience: Navigate to your client list and select the clients you wish to reach (e.g., all 44 active clients).

  2. Trigger the Broadcast: Click the "Broadcast" icon (speech bubble) in the action menu. This allows you to send a unified message to everyone selected simultaneously.

2. Crafting the Perfect Referral Offer

When the message editor opens, you can personalize the experience. A great referral offer is a "Win-Win" benefiting both your current client and their friend.

  1. Personalization: Use the {{firstName}} tag to ensure every client feels spoken to directly.

  2. The Reward: Clearly state the benefit (e.g., "+1 month free for both parties").

  3. Call to Action: Direct them to your specific referral landing page*: www.clarkkent.com/referral.

* Requires you to have a lead form where there's some kind of input field, where the lead can enter the referral code

3. Using Unique Referral Codes

To automate the tracking, every client has a unique referral code.

  • In the editor, use the "Insert Referral Code" button to drop the {{clientReferral}} placeholder into your message.

  • How it looks to the client: When sent, this placeholder transforms into a unique alphanumeric string (e.g., 61b71262...). This code is what their friends will enter on your website to link the sign-up to the correct person.

4. Preview and Send

Before actual sending, the system provides a Message Preview.

  • Review how the text flows.

  • Check that the unique code is generating correctly.

  • Once satisfied, hit "Send to [X] clients" to launch your campaign.

5. Do the kick back to the exciting client

When a new lead arrives using a code, you can easily identify the source. By entering a referral code into your Client Search bar, the system will instantly pull up the specific client associated with that code, making it easy to attribute the bonus month to the right person.

We suggest offer 1 month discount, since making the actual kick back will be a manual proces. Here it is just more easier to simply postpone next invoice by 1 month using our simple helper as shown here

  1. Open the payment module for a client

  2. Click on 'change next payment date' and chose +1 month
